This week has been the most unpredictable week I remember since 1987, during the oil crisis in
Texas.  In a matter of a few weeks, thousands of people were reported loosing their homes and had to move to find work in other parts of the country.  I wasn’t afraid because I knew our great country and the great state of Texas would find a way to recover and rebuild!  And that’s exactly what happened.  Austin Texas is one of the most thriving cities in our nation now, with a strong economy and new development and a growing city. 

The gas shortage in Atlanta this week has given us all a slight set back.  It feels to me like everything is in slowwww motion.  We know times are tough.  We share your burdens.  And we want to help everyone who needs furniture - get what they need!!  We will continue to offer the best selection, the best value, and the best service in Atlanta!

Michael and I are traveling to India this week and have picked up some beautiful beds, side tabes, booksheves, and TV stands. Old  door sideboards and beautiful dining tables…. and a real statement in our store and in your homes.  If you like the old rustic look we bring from India, you will be happy with the selections we’ve made.
